Amanda Shoemaker
Hello and thank you for visiting my website! I hope this means I will get to chat with you in person very soon. I am Amanda Knudsen and I am the owner and founder of Big Sky Design and Marketing.
I am a fourth generation Missoula native and I absolutely love my city, my state and all the amazing businesses and people that reside within them. I graduated from Sentinel High School in 2006 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Montana, where I graduated in 2009.

I was fortunate enough to work for a local company named Axmen for nearly a decade. It was there that I learned how to truly network and market in the Missoula valley and the extreme beauty of diversifying a business.
In 2014 gaining the title of mom gave me the push I need to pursue working independently. My son Charlie joined the world in May 2014 and his little sister Maddie followed in 2017.

In 2020 my husband and I purchased land and started HBK Ranch - selling grass-fed, grass-finished beef to the consumer. For the next 5 years this monopolized nearly all my time. We are very blessed to have been able to work with so many amazing people and are happy to continue to offer our services on a smaller scale as we slow down and diversify our lives. Marketing has become a main focus of mine again and I am excited to get back to work being creative with the local business owners.

I find such extreme joy in helping people communicate the value of their business that it was a no-brainer, the marketing side of my business was born.

I currently manage marketing accounts for a number of businesses in Missoula and enjoy it more than I can explain. One of my greatest joys is watching a client's business reaching their potential with my help. I look forward to chatting with you about your dreams for your business soon!
